Can the 1K+ drive both synchronous (PMSM) and asynchronous motors?

Yes. The 1K+ provides integrated control for both motor types, switched by modifying a single parameter (F1-25). This makes it ideal for elevator modernization projects—you can keep the existing asynchronous machine now and upgrade to a PMSM gearless motor later without replacing the controller.

What happens to the elevator during a power failure?

The controller automatically identifies power failure and outputs an emergency evacuation signal. With a UPS connected (it accepts three-phase 380VAC or single-phase 220VAC emergency supplies), the elevator performs low-speed self-rescue to the nearest leveling floor and opens the door. For synchronous motors, shorting-stator braking mode lets the car drift slowly to a safe floor using the car/counterweight difference—passengers are never trapped.

How many floors can it control, and can two elevators work together?

The 1K+ supports up to 16 floors (8 standard, extendable to 16) at speeds up to 1.75 m/s. It also supports direct parallel control of two elevators with no additional group-control hardware—including dispersed waiting at different floors and automatic exit from parallel mode if one unit develops a fault.
